How does payment work?
For all other dental services that are under the Medicare CDBS, you are still eligible for a refund, but there may be a small out of pocket expense depending on the treatment that is being provided. Do not worry, all treatment plans and applicable fees are presented to you before any treatment, so there are no surprises.
We utilise the EASYCLAIM system to lodge your claim on the spot for you with your Medicare card and number. If we are unable to lodge, submit, or confirm the claim at the time of your appointment, full payment is required for the outstanding balance. You will need to then send your statement to Medicare for a refund of this amount.
You can do this via:
- the Express Plus Medicare mobile app
- your Medicare online account through myGov
- a Medicare claim form and posting it to the address on the form
- a Medicare claim form and taking it to a service centre.
